Here's a couple of update shots. I have sculpted the hands , added detail to the hair, made removeable dentures for molding purposes and added a skull and more little rocks. I still have somemore things to add before I bake him.

Is this SS firm or a mixture?
Looks great and seems to have gone pretty fast!

It's all done in SS soft. I don't like firm.

Do you mix it , or just buy the gray .

That's one of the reasons I like your work it ha a style and the artist's touch.
I need to try the grey regular all I could find was sculpy III Elephant Grey. Probably have to order it.

I know, a lot of stuff looks machined. I have a guy here who carries SS grey in Canada. He is the only supplier that I know of who sells it here. What do you normally sculpt with?

For medium and large sculptures I use WED water based clay.
I also use Chavant NSP medium or hard if using oil clay.

I also use Super Sculpey mixed with SS3 black and white to get a gray. I sometimes use SS3 elephant gray or SS firm.
I use translucent SS for hand sculpted teeth sometimes or their ivory color.
